Tuesday 22 October 2024 Erasmus Plus Programme Last summer some of our teachers took part in various courses abroad in languages, wellbeing and guidance. The courses were funded by the Erasmus Plus Programme and staff learned new teaching methodologies as well as stress management tools as well as making connections with other secondary schools within the EU. This was a fantastic opportunity which Greenhills hope to continue to be involved in. Well done to Ms Daniels, Ms Olohan, Ms Carolan, Ms McGorry, Ms Mills, Ms Connell, Ms NiMurcu and Ms Bogue on completing the various courses.

Monday 21 October 2024 Emily Grifferty 6th Year Congratulations to 6th Year Emily Grifferty who had her first ride as an apprentice jockey on Ascendent for McConnell Racing at Dundalk last Friday. Hopefully there will be many winners in the years to come!

Friday 4 October 2024 Our Lady's College Greenhills Open Night 2024-25. Corridors and classrooms in Our Lady’s College were packed on Wednesday night last for the school’s Open Night. This is an annual event when 5th and 6th class students and their parents/guardians are welcomed into the school to sample the curriculum and wide-ranging extra-curricular activities, artistic, sporting and others that the school has to offer.

Monday 30 September 2024 Cross Country Phoenix Park Well done to the ladies from 1st 2nd and 3rd year who braved wet and windy conditions last Thursday in the Phoenix park running cross country. 3rd years claimed third team place with Shauna Rice and Dara Eili Schiopu both coming home with medals for their placings inside the top 20. Well done to everyone who ran, super start to the season ??

Friday 27 September 2024 Basketball v Sacred Heart On Tuesday September 24th, our under 19A and under 16A Basketball teams both had wins over the Sacred Heart. Well done to all involved.

Monday 23 September 2024 Greenhills Host Senior Schools Camogie Blitz On Thursday, September 12th, Our Lady’s College hosted a very successful camogie blitz for senior students in five Louth secondary schools at Newtown Blues GAA grounds.

Tuesday 28 May 2024 Greenhills Girls are Leinster Champions Congratulations to the Our Lady’s College under 15 soccer team who have been crowned Leinster “A” League Champions in a tough campaign in which 120 schools competed for the coveted title.

Friday 17 May 2024 Our Lady's College Remembers the late Paddy Brennan All in Greenhills were deeply saddened to hear news of the death of local man Paddy Brennan, on April 29th. A beloved member of the school community, Paddy played an integral part in the life of Our Lady’s College, since his first involvement with the school in the mid 1970’s when his daughters were students there.

Friday 17 May 2024 As Paul Fennelly Retires…. A young Paul Fennelly first arrived in Our Lady’s College in September 1986, having successfully interviewed for a position to teach Maths and Irish. As Paul points out, it was unusual to travel so far north from Kilkenny because most lads would venture no further than Croke Park!
