Treats for our Exchange Students
Our school welcomes students from many different countries on exchange or students who moved here full time. This week Miss Mc Cann and Miss Bayly’s fifth years completed a project on their home countries. These countries included Japan, Nigeria, Switzerland, Germany, Pakistan, Syria, Mauritius, UAE, Lithuania, Slovakia and Ireland. Students included their home country flag, map, traditional foods, religion, famous people and lots more. Students brought in food from their home country for the other students to taste such as rice, chocolate, crisps and sweets. The students were treated to the well know Irish tradition of a Tayto sandwich by Miss Mc Cann and Miss Bayly. All posters will be on display in Nano Nagle after the midterm break.
