Drogheda Innovation Project
As part of the Drogheda Innovation Project Greenhills TY Enterprise students, Hannah Dunne, Ronke Olatinwo and Grace Campbell (absent from photo) recently went before Drogheda Chamber of Commerce to present their ‘Drogheda Today’ idea to them. ‘Drogheda Today’ is a website designed by the students which includes information on local businesses and services for all those looking for information about Drogheda. The Chamber were hugely supportive of the girls and are excited to work with them.
Some local business people as well as some members of the Drogheda Chamber, including Cathy Malone from Malones Toyota, Rhona Nesbitt from BD, Miriam Simon from Partnering Talent and Operations and vice-chairperson Robert Murray from First Citizens, came to Greenhills to meet with the girls in school and discuss future plans. They also kindly supported the project with both financial and practical assistance. The organizing teacher, Miss R.Savage, mentioned that the visit was very worthwhile and beneficial and all are really excited to move further on with ‘Drogheda Today’.
