Agony and Ecstasy for Basketball Teams
Another busy week for the Basketball players at Our Lady’s College saw some play their first game in their league campaign and some play their last.
Monday the Junior B team continued their unbeaten run in Division 1. They took on Dominican College, Griffith Avenue, in what turned out to be a one-sided affair. A 17 – 0 lead at the end of quarter one set the tone, with Katie McCabe scoring 14 in the quarter. Big performances from Caoimhe Kearney and Benita Assoua assisted the team in their 45 – 13 victory.
